Media Cloud is an open-source media research platform dedicated to analyzing global news and information flows. It boasts a global news database containing over one billion news stories, and offers comprehensive tools for aggregation, analysis, dissemination, and visualization. The project is collaboratively managed by a consortium comprising the Media Ecosystem Analysis Group, the University of Massachusetts Amherst, and Northeastern University, and was originally incubated by Harvard University and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
