Garcinia mangostana Assembly

Garcinia mangostana produces seed that are recalcitrant, polyembryony and undifferentiated. Since garcinia mangostana have become one of the tropical fruit plant with economic and multineuraceutical importance deeper studies into the molecular aspect of the seed will require more genetic information to be available especially on public database. The study aims to generate high throughput transcriptomic data of garcinia mangostana using the next generation sequencing technology and to use the data for gene expression analysis study.
