Soil properties Auzon catchment

This data set contains shape files of several soil properties for the Auzon catchment (Ardèche French catchment). This includes: clay content (%), sand content (%), silt content (%, stones fraction (%), average soil depth (m), average maximum storage capacity (mm). The data contains information of the soil surface horizon (clay, sand, silt,stones) or from the whole soil profile (depth, max storage capacity). Observing strategy: These data can be used to derive soil properties using pedo-transfer functions for use in a model. In the present .shp file some values are provided that were computed using Rawls and Brackensick (1985) pedo-transfer function (see Manus et al.? 2009, Bonnet, 2012)
