资源简介:
This dataset contains planktonic foraminiferal abundance (Ind. g-1), Summer Sea Surface Temperature (SSST °C) reconstruction, fragments (%), and relative percentage of foraminiferal species and associated standard error (%) from core MD07-3081. Quantitative and qualitative analyses of planktonic foraminiferal assemblages were performed on 38 samples from core MD07-3081, with a resolution of 0.1 to 1 ka. To interpret only significant relative percentages, we calculated the associated error of each percentage, following the equation proposed by Patterson and Fishbein (1989). The reconstruction of summer sea surface temperature was determined using the PaleoAnalog program (Therón et al., 2004) by comparing the relative abundances of planktonic foraminifera with the modern core database for the Southern Ocean (Haddam et al., 2016). Levels with a census count of more than 300 individuals and less than 20% presence of fragments were used to ensure good preservation and reliable quantitative estimates (Haddam et al., 2016).
