Minutes of the LIDATEC Review Group meeting on 29 August 2018 at WLIC in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The main items discussed were: since the namespace hosting was approved in principle by the GB, the remaining step prior to finalizing the contract is finding funding. The ISBD, BCM and UNIMARC Review Groups reported on the difficulties in progressing their work and implementing IFLA standards in the absence of namespaces. Actions relating to communicating the importance of standards and their technical infrastructure to IFLA members were proposed.
