Coastal Dune and Lake Foreshore Rehabilitation Project Stage 2

Best practice bush regeneration techniques will continue to be employed to combat coastal and lake foreshore degradation in the Coastal Dune and Lake Foreshore Rehabilitation project. Further dune stabilising fences and access way fencing will be installed as necessary to protect rehabilitation works. There will be more planting and direct seeding throughout the sites. Collection and propagation of local provenance material in a local volunteer nursery facility will continue to complement plantings and natural regeneration. Signage and field days will aim to increase the local communityÍs knowledge and participation in local natural resource management.
