资源简介:
The lake-terminating glaciers are widely distributed in the central Himalayas. According to the impact of proglacial lakes, these glaciers exhibited a more sensitive response to climate change than others. The dataset of the bottom topography of the Longbasaba Glacier/Lake (GeoTIFF format) was constructed by utilizing the glacier thickness and in situ measurements of the water depths of Longbasaba Lake; boundaries of the glacial lake, glacier, and debris cover for the period 1988–2018 (Shapefile format) were extracted from Landsat TM\ETM+\OLI images, which were also utilized to extract the surface velocities. The dataset of mass change of this lake-terminating glacier from 1989 to 2018 was reconstructed by combining the surface mass budgets, surface velocities, and the terminal retreat. These data could be basic and calibration parameters for the glacial dynamics models of lake-terminating glaciers, and also be reference datasets for the studies of the response to climate change for glaciers with different types in the Himalayas.
