Soil Metagenomics of Morrow Plot

We conducted the first Soil Metagenomics sequencing for Morrow plot. Morrow plot is the oldest continuously managed agricultural experiment in the United States. The plots represent long-term cropping systems maintained for nearly 150 years, including continuous corn (CCC), a corn, soybean rotation (CS), a three-year corn, oat, alfalfa rotation (COA), and sod grass (SG) legacy plots. The Project is to study how the long-term agricultural management affect soil microbiome and their functional traits.
