In this study, we present the draft genome sequence for Carnobacterium divergens MFPA43A1405. This strain was isolated from a modified atmosphere-packed beef carpaccio. The draft genome will contribute to understand the role of C. divergens species in spoilage of food products through comparative genomics with other strains.
