Breast cancer burden and nursing supply among women aged 65 years and over: diverging rate–count patterns in East Asia as a sentinel region, 1990–2023

This deposit contains the derived data and the analysis code supporting the manuscript "Breast cancer burden and nursing supply among women aged 65 years and over: diverging rate–count patterns in East Asia as a sentinel region, 1990–2023". The data comprise country- and region-year series of breast cancer DALY counts and crude rates among women aged 65 years and over for China, Japan, South Korea, East Asia and the world; nursing supply on two denominators; Das Gupta three-factor decompositions of the change in DALYs; risk-specific attribution series for the seven risks GBD 2023 attributes to female breast cancer, with two-factor decompositions of the attributable rates; and Bayesian local-linear-trend projections to 2045. No GBD raw extract is redistributed; all files are derived, aggregated analysis outputs. The deposit contains no individual-level human data and required no ethics approval.
