R/V Mirai Cruise MR19-03C

Meteorological and oceanographic observations were made in the north Pacific ocean, the Bering Sea and the Arctic ocean on board the R/V Mirai from 28 September to 10 November in 2019 as a part of the Arctic Challenge for Sustainability (ArCS) project. During cruise, we deployed six bouys over the Arctic Ocean. To sample aerosol over the Pacific and Arctic Oceans, tethered ballone observations were made. In addition, we conducted drones observations for monitoring sea ice condition.
