Dataset for publication "Landscape context and forest management shape post-fire land surface temperature and vapour pressure deficit in temperate pine forests"
收藏资源简介:
This dataset contains cleaned in-situ microclimate data collected within the PYROPHOB project at two post-fire pine forest research sites in Brandenburg, northeastern Germany: Jüterbog (JB) and Treuenbrietzen (TB). Air temperature was recorded using HOBO Pendant data loggers (Onset, USA) mounted at 1.3 m height on ten plots per study site. Temperature and relative humidity (RH) were additionally measured using HOBO Pro V2 sensors (Onset, USA) installed 10 cm above ground on three Very Important Plots (VIPs) per site, at 10-minute intervals. Vapour pressure deficit (VPD, kPa) was calculated from these measurements. Data were collected during the vegetation seasons (April–September) of 2021, 2022, 2023, and 2024. The file all_data_cleaned.csv contains the combined, quality-controlled dataset across all years and plots, including outlier-flagged and removed records, and derived VPD values. This dataset formed the basis for all microclimate analyses in the associated publication. The study was conducted within the PYROPHOB project (grant numbers: 2219WK50A4–H4), funded by the Waldklimafonds via FNR, BMEL and BMU.
