Torre Vecchia, Cirò Marina (Calabria, Italy): 3D point cloud, web preview

Coloured 3D point cloud (LAS 1.2, 1,004,442 points, about 25 MB) of TorreVecchia, a coastal watchtower in Cirò Marina, Calabria, Italy, in use by 1586and today an abandoned, fenced ruin. Made from the author's UAV (drone)photographs.This is a preview-quality copy, made to test low-cost web access to 3D heritagedocumentation. The same data can be explored in any web browser, including onsmartphones, at https://torre-vecchia-ciro-marina.netlify.app (Potree, opensource). Local coordinate system (not georeferenced). Scale and accuracy of this previewhave not been verified: for viewing, teaching and discussion, not formeasurement. This is not the reconstruction presented at IMEKO MetroArchaeo2026 (Bari).
