Lettuce and Tomato cultivar:Stem lettuce line PI 251246 and Tomato: Bonny Best Raw sequence reads

Chitin, a polymer of N-acetylglucosamine, and derivatives of this polymer have been used widely as elicitors of plant defense responses. The objective of this study was to assess defense responses in lettuce and tomato root tissues in response to chitin application. We performed RNA-seq analyses to understand the comprehensive overview of gene expression patterns in lettuce and tomato roots in response to chitin.
