PMA Democratic Republic of Congo (Kinshasa) Phase 4 Household and Female Survey (2024)

PMA Democratic Republic of Congo (Kinshasa) Phase 4 Household and Female Survey collects data in 115 enumeration areas (EAs) using a multi-stage stratified cluster design with urban-rural strata. The results are representative at the national and province levels and within urban/rural strata. The final sample included 1,829 households and, 2,408 de facto females in Kinshasa who completed the interview for the cross-sectional sample. Data collection was conducted between June and August 2024.Kinshasa Phase 4 panel data collection was conducted among 3,366 women from Phase 1, Phase 2 and Phase 3 who consented to follow-up and aged 15-49y at Phase 4. 56.6% of women enrolled in the panel survey at Phase 1 between December 2019 and February 2020, 21.3% of women enrolled in the panel survey at Phase 2 between November 2020 and February 2021 and 22.1% of women enrolled in the panel survey at Phase 3 between December 2021 and April 2022. Of the 3,366 women eligible for the panel survey at Phase 4, 34% of were not reached for follow-up at Phase 4. Of those reached, 2,096 (62.3%) completed the Phase 4 survey, for a response rate of 97.5% among contacted women.
