KOBIS is a node of IOBIS (International Ocean Biogeographic Information System). KOBIS is managed by KORDI and collects biodiversity data around Korea peninsular from papers and reporters. KOBIS provides IOBIS the collected data and operates a web GIS to provide marine biodiversity information to the public.
