资源简介:
This dataset comprises 10X Visium spatial transcriptomics data from the pig dorsal root ganglia (DRG) of female pigs. It aims to map the spatial gene expression patterns within the DRG, offering insights into the molecular identity of neuronal populations, including nociceptors. This work provides a unique spatial perspective on gene expression, facilitating a deeper understanding of DRG molecular architecture and its implications in sensory processing. Overall design: The study sourced DRGs from 7 female pigs, with tissues processed for Visium spatial transcriptomics. DRGs were fresh-frozen, sectioned, and prepared on Visium slides for spatial sequencing. The objective is to characterize spatial gene expression within pig DRGs, identifying distinct neuronal populations and their molecular markers.
