Experiment on human Pavlovian instrumental transfer, exploring the relationship between the strength of the instrumental contingency (reward probability) and the PIT effect.
In the instrumental phase, participants learned to press two levers for two different rewards.
Levers gave rewards everytime or only 33% of the time (probability was the same for both levers but varied accross participants).
Participants showed a stronger PIT effect in the 33% condition than in the 100% condition.
