Human lung tissue treated with interferons

RNAseq analysis of human lung slices after treatment with different interferons. Results: Differentially expressed genes were observed after treatment with different interferons. Methods: Tumor-free human lung explants were obtained from patients undergoing lung surgery at the University Hospital Muenster on the day of surgery. Tissue blocks were individually placed in a 12-well plate in RPMI medium. Tissues were treated with different interferons. RNA was prepared from tissue homogenates. Overall design: Design: Lung mRNA profiles of lung tissues from three donors after treatment with interferons were compared to mock-treated controls.
