LIPAOL: an event generator for hadron interaction simulations

Abstract We have developed a computational code - LIPAOL - for the simulation of hadron-hadron interactions, to be used in a wide energy range of accelerator and cosmic ray experiments. The theoretical framework is a modification of the quark-gluon string model. LIPAOL produces results that are in a good agreement with the accelerator data in the region of the available phase space.
