Diet Among Elderly Living at Home in Oslo, 1985

This project has dealt with the question of whether old age dementia leads to an insufficient diet or not. One aim has been to gain an impression of the general diet among the elderly in Oslo. Further on, the elderly who needed education about diets the most were identified and described. Information was gathered by interviews about medical and social objects, registering diets and blood analysis in order to achieve information about vitamin B status among the elderly. The sample consists of 255 elderly who live in their own home (as opposed to an institution).
