While individual studies have explored their impacts, a comprehensive, quantitative synthesis at the global scale has been lacking. This research aimed to conduct a systematic meta-analysis to quantify and compare the effects of relay and double cropping systems on key weed control traits (biomass, density, and species richness) and crop yield.
