SOCIAL AND EMOTIONAL DEVELOPMENT IN PRESCHOOL CHILDREN

The preschool period is considered one of the most important stages in terms of children’s social and emotional development. This article provides a pedagogical and psychological analysis of social and emotional skills. Research shows that the development of children’s ability to understand emotional experiences, express themselves, and communicate with peers should be systematically supported in the preschool education process. The article reveals the effectiveness of integrating social and emotional development into the pedagogical process.
