Reference dataset of soil indexes for aeolian desertification assessment standard of typical desertification regions in northern China

This dataset takes Dunhuang City - Guazhou County, Minqin County, and Naiman Banner as the research areas. According to the current "Land Desertification Monitoring Method" (GB/T 20483-2006), the wind erosion and desertification score was calculated, and soil samples were collected in October 2023 according to different degrees of wind erosion and desertification. A reference dataset for soil indicators of wind erosion and desertification evaluation standards in northern China was established by using indoor standard experimental methods and procedures to determine soil bulk density, mechanical composition, nutrients, and other related indicators in the Technical Regulations for the Third National Soil Census (Revised Edition).
