资源简介:
The Fish River is a permanent stream which was named in 1813 by George Evans for its abundance of fish. Major impacts on the river system during the last 200 years have included impoundment for water supply, clearing of native vegetation for agriculture and forestry, weed invasion and stream bank erosion and major disruption to the ecology of river fauna. The main objectives of this project are to help restore approximately 5 hectares and 1.5 kilometres of river bank reserves and adjacent private land on the Fish River which is a known habitat of the endangered Booroolong Frog.
