资源简介:
This dataset includes all reports and summaries of raw data supporting the results presented in the paper 'Extracellular vesicles from patients with coronary artery disease (CAD) demonstrate enhanced pro-coagulatory activity'. The objective of this paper is to investigate the relationships between circulating extracellular vesicles (EVs), thrombin generation and protein cargo between patients with coronary artery disease and control patients. A total of 60 subjects (aged 18~100yrs) consisting of 40 patients with confirmed CAD and 20 matched controls were recruited for the study. Venous and arterial blood samples (30ml each) were collected from patients undergoing invasive coronary angiography. Data about EVs parameters include: 1) the numbers and size of circulating total EVs measured by Nanoparticle Tracking Analysis (NTA); 2) the numbers of EV subpopulations (i.e. phosphatidylserine-positive EVs (PS+EVs), platelet-derived EVs (PDEVs) and endothelial-derived EVs (EDEVs)) measured by flow cytometry (FCM); 3) the pro-coagulatory activity of circulating EVs (in vitro thrombogenic potential in activating tissue factor-dependent thrombin generation) measured by thrombin generation assay; 4) biological protein cargo measured by proteomics. Baseline data including: plasma lipid profile (i.e. triacylglycerol (TAG), total cholesterol (TC), high-density lipoprotein cholesterol (HDL-C), and BMI were provided by the hospital.
