Multiscale model of heart growth during pregnancy

This project focuses on building a multiscale cardiac growth model for pregnancy to understand how mechanical and hormonal cues interact to drive heart growth during pregnancy. This multiscale model couples a cell signaling network model that predicts cell-level hypertrophy in response to hormones and stretch, to a compartmental model of the rat heart and circulation that predicts organ-level growth in response to hemodynamic changes.The companion paper can be found here: https://www.biorxiv.org/content/10.1101/2020.09.18.302067v1 <br/><br/>This project includes the following software/data packages: <br/> <ul> <li> <a href="https://simtk.org/frs?group_id=2113#pack_2242">Multiscale Heart Growth Model </a> : This package contains the MATLAB files to run the multiscale heart growth model, which couples a cell signaling network model to a compartmental model of the heart.
