Raw data collected for the P1713 project carried out by Searcher Seismic

This dataset comprises of raw data that was collected for the P1713 project (pre-survey), it includes sound source verification (SSV), and marine mammal (MM) surveys carried out for Searcher Seismic. The acoustic data collected using a drifting sound recorders are stored by date sub-folders of WAV folders for each of the four drifts (3 MM drifts, and a single SSV drift). Drift A - offshore operational area, prior to the beginning of a seismic survey. Drift C - offshore ring-fenced fishery area close to the continental shelf edge. Drift D - inshore area of the snoek fishery. Drift SSV - SSV sound recording at the offshore operational area adjacent to the seismic source vessel. The data sharing was facilitated through the South African Marine Research and Exploration Forum (SAMREF) an Operation Phakisa Oceans Economy Lab project.
