Replication Data for: Does Tocovid, a Tocotrienol-rich Vitamin E, Mitigate Postoperative Atrial Fibrillation after Coronary Artery Bypass Grafting (CABG) Surgery? A Single-Centre Double-blind Randomised Controlled Trial.

This is a single-center randomized controlled trial on the effect of a potent anti-oxidant and an anti-inflammatory agent, tocotrienol, an isomer of vitamin E which is derived from palm oil for the prevention of a very common complication post heart surgery namely atrial fibrillation. This study too about three years to complete and was carried out at the center of excellence, the National Heart Institute of Kuala Lumpur.
