Northern California obsidian hydration derived dates and weights of projectile points

This dataset was used in analyses for the paper "Investigating Technology Change Without Typology: The Spread of the Bow and Arrow in California" to be published in American Antiquity in 2025. The dataset rows represent projectile points, each with the site name, report citation, general location (USGS 7.5 topo quad), obsidian source, obsdian hydration reading, elevation, effective hydration temperature, and calculated date in years cal BP. Details of age calculations can be found in the supplemental material to the published paper.
