资源简介:
The MiPPAD birth cohort of Benin has for overall objective to study the early determinants of children's health and development. The 14-year follow-up included offspring born to pregnant women included in the MiPPAD trial. This follow-up included data collection on offspring neurodevelopment and health, including malaria, anemia, iron deficiency, blood lead level, pesticides, thyroid hormones, cardiometabolic markers and anthropometric measures. Neurodevelopment was assessed in detail by trained assessors and included the Kaufman Assessment Battery for Children (KABC-II), the Test of Variables of Attention (TOVA) and the Strength and Difficulties questionnaire (SDQ). It also included socioeconomic environment and maternal mental health. The cohort takes place in a semi rural area in the district of Allada, including Allada, Sekou and Attogon, in Benin, sub-Saharan Africa. Overall, 470 children were followed at mean age 13 years and 9 months. More information may be found here : https://www.irset.org/en/mippad-benin-mother-child-cohort
