资源简介:
This is the model result of the publication "FESOM2.1-REcoM3-MEDUSA2: an ocean-sea ice-biogeochemistry model coupled to a sediment model" by Ye et al. (in press), Geoscientific Model Development. It contains the results of the coupled simulation: from REcoM3:- primary productivity (NPPd for diatoms and NPPn for small phytoplankton);- particle sinking from the bottom layer (sinkCalc for calcite, sinkOpal for opal, and sinkPOC for particulate organic carbon);exchange fluxes between the sediment model MEDUSA2 and the ocean model FESOM2.1-REcoM3:- medusa_diffflux: diffusive fluxes of dissolved inorganic carbon (df_dic), alkalinity (df_alk), dissolved inorganic nitrogen (df_din), dissolved oxygen (df_o2), and silicate (df_dsi) from sediment to ocean;- medusa_topflux: deposition fluxes of calcite, opal, clay, and two classes of organic matter on the sediment top;from MEDUSA2:- medusa_reaclay: sediment distrubition of organic matter, calcite, opal and clay;- OM_degradation: degradation of organic matter by aerobic respiration, denitrification and sulfate reduction.
The coupled simulation ran for 2000 years and this dataset contains results averaged for the last 50 years, whichare shown in the publication. The original model output was written in an unstructured mesh and the dataset provided here was interpolated into a regular mesh of 360X180.
