Tactile-evoked EEG Dataset for Natural Perception Using an Integrated Stimulation-Recording Framework

This open-access dataset we have provided aims to investigate natural tactile-evoked EEG response patterns across different contact scenarios. Tactile exploration plays a crucial role in the advancement of tactile-evoked brain-computer interface (BCI) technologies, yet the underlying neural mechanisms and classification models require further investigation. Our dataset collection process ensures the authenticity and naturalness of tactile perception tasks, providing a solid foundation for exploring natural tactile-evoked mechanisms and the neurophysiology of tactile feedback. We believe that this dataset will contribute to the development of tactile-evoked BCI systems, enhance research and innovation in assistive medical devices for aging populations, and expand the application prospects of BCI technologies.
