RNAseq analysis of regeneration in Exaiptasia pallida. Exaiptasia diaphana

The aim of this study was to understand the differential gene expression changes that occurs in E. pallida following lateral amputation (head amputation). In particular we were interested in the innate immune system and whether it may play an inhibitory or assistive role in regeneration. Differentially expressed genes in common with other evolutionary close relatives was also of key interest.
