Orchestra | 1KGP reference panel (16 populations) for local ancestry inference

The 1KGP-16pops dataset consists of high-coverage whole-genome sequencing (WGS) data from non-admixed and unrelated samples across 16 populations from the 1000 Genomes Project (1KGP). This panel, used by Orchestra for local ancestry inference, includes both original 1KGP samples and simulated samples representing six generations of random admixture generated using SLiM. Samples within the panel are classified into 'test' and 'training' sets, following the benchmarking approach described in the Orchestra study. Both genotype data and local ancestry annotations are provided for benchmarking analyses.
