Measurement Data for the Analysis and Validation of Energy Savings – Forschungsprojekt Einsparzähler (ESZ)

This dataset was created as part of the BAFA-funded research project “Einsparzähler” (ESZ), project no. 60 92 68603. The project focused on the measurement, analysis, and validation of energy savings based on energy consumption and operational data. Its objective was to develop and evaluate methods for determining energy savings in a transparent and data-driven manner. The published dataset contains measurement data collected and processed during the project. It provides underlying data used for the analysis and validation of energy consumption and energy savings and is made publicly available to support transparency, reproducibility, and further scientific or technical analysis. The measurement data are provided in CSV format. Each dataset is accompanied by a metadata file in JSON format containing additional information required to interpret and process the respective data. A README file provides further documentation on the dataset structure, file formats, data fields, units, and interpretation of the data. Open and machine-readable file formats were deliberately chosen to facilitate automated processing and long-term accessibility without dependency on proprietary software.
