Satellite-based estimates of Antarctic surface meltwater fluxes

Estimates of Antarctic ice sheet surface meltwater production derived from the QuikSCAT satellite over 2000-2009. Data are yearly melt sums, beginning with the 1999-2000 melt season and ending with the 2008-2009 melt season.
