The JEFF-3.1 Thermal Scattering Law (TSL) sublibrary provides evaluated data describing the interaction of neutrons with bound atoms in moderator and structural materials at thermal energies. These data extend the main JEFF-3.1 neutron-induced library by including S(α,β) scattering kernels, which are essential for accurate reactor physics calculations in systems employing moderators such as light water, heavy water, graphite, and beryllium.
