资源简介:
To address this group, PSI Uganda, in collaboration with Ministry of Health (MOH), designed a comprehensive HIV prevention program to contribute to the MOH strategic objective of reducing new HIV infections by 25% through promoting safer sexual behaviors. This study aims to 1) establish current levels of risky sexual practices among married people 2) identify behavioral determinants and population characteristics associated with unfaithfulness. Study results will guide decision makers in the development of program promoting faithfulness. A nationwide cross sectional survey was conducted in March 2008. A multi stage cluster sampling approach was used to select 1960 respondents among married people aged 24-54. Data was collected through structured face to face interviews. Multivariate analyses were conducted to identify independent variables significantly associated with faithfulness. Simple f requencies and means were derived for monitoring behavior and related determinants.
