Cattle Ranching Trends in Acre 2005-2014

This dataset contains responses from a a survey with 121 cattle ranchers in the Brazilian state of Acre about their production systems and trends in production between 2005 and 2014. The survey was applied in 2015 in cooperation with the Brazilian Agricultural Research Corporation EMBRAPA. The target population for our sampling process consists of all the cattle ranchers in the Brazilian state of Acre. The sampling frame consisted of a list of all producers in Acre (details in the upcoming publication, see below). The dataset furthermore contains some external variables that were derived from publicly available geodata. The uploaded files contain a database, a table with the description of the variables as well as the questionnaire from the survey.
