Browse Plant Resources Along Environmental Gradients in Savanna, 1998

The purpose of the project is to describe the variation in access to and utilization of "kvistbete" within and between plant species along gradients in the environment. The background for the project is based on the question "How should forest management resources be managed to provide maximum sustainable yield in a savannah environment?" And further investigates how access and utilization of "kvistbete" vary within and between plant species along gradients in the environment. The main findings of the project suggest that utilization of and access to "kvistbete" on the savannah varies considerably across gradients in the landscape and regional scale.

Data collection for the project has been conducted in southern Africa's savannah landscape.
