Austria: number of new electric cars by state 2021

In 2021 more than 33,000 new electric passenger cars were registered in Austria. More than half of these were registered in just three states, Upper and Lower Austria and Vienna, where total registrations exceeded 18,000 electric cars. The highest share of electric car registrations was recorded in Salzburg and Vorarlberg though.
