Data supporting the publication: Ethical Challenges in Climate-Health Research in the Eastern Mediterranean Region

This dataset originates from a mixed-methods Delphi study conducted to identify and prioritize ethical challenges in climate–health research in the Eastern Mediterranean Region (EMR). The research objective was to generate region-specific evidence to inform ethical frameworks, data governance, and policy development for climate–health research in climate-vulnerable and humanitarian settings. The study employed a two-round Delphi design, combining qualitative and quantitative approaches: Round 1 used an online open-ended questionnaire to explore expert perspectives, which were analyzed using inductive thematic analysis, while Round 2 utilized a structured questionnaire with Likert-scale items to quantify and prioritize identified themes. Data were collected from multidisciplinary experts across multiple EMR countries, representing public health, climate science, ethics, and policy sectors.
