According to a recent survey conducted by Rakuten Insight, about 55 percent of female respondents in the Philippines who owned a smartwatch and/or fitness/activity tracker said they purchased one due to health reasons and with the intention and improving their health. In comparison, 15 percent of respondents stated that they purchased own to keep up with the latest tech trends and products.
