DNA microarray analyses were performed to determine the gene expression profiles of space-flown worms over four generations. N2 wild-type, RB756 hda-4 (ok518), and VC199 sir-2.1 (ok434) mutants were used to analyze epigenome alterations by histone deacetylase. Overall design: We compared the entire gene expression of wild-type and mutants under µG and artificial 1G conditions. Two indipendent culture samples were analyzed for each condition.
