Roca, un crocevia di scambi tra l'Europa e il Mediterraneo: il valore economico e sociale del metallo nella tarda età del Bronzo

The main aim of this paper is to highlight the rich value of Roca in the context of the metal exchange during the Bronze age. From the northern Adriatic sites to the central Mediterranean, and from central Europe to the south eastern Italian coasts, thanks to the use and the presence of metal, many people and objects travelled, thus bringing with them new ideas and technologies. Several bronze and gold artifacts, tools and raw materials found in Roca, are key elements to reconstruct the dynamics of the exchanges and the transformation processes of the ancient protohistoric societies of Puglia.
