Perceived Impact of the COVID-19 Pandemic and Government Restrictions on the Lives of Young Adults Living with HIV in Kisumu, Kenya

We examined the impact of the pandemic and related government mandated restrictions among YAHIV in Kisumu, Kenya. Between April-May 2021, a cross-sectional survey was conducted among a convenience sample of YAHIV 18-25 years receiving HIV care in Kisumu, Kenya. Information on demographics, COVID-19 knowledge, protective measures, and the impact of the pandemic and related restrictions (i.e., curfews, lockdowns, school/workplace closures) on their daily lives and well-being since the start of the pandemic was collected.
