This dataset contains synthetic seismic models and their corresponding Rayleigh-wave dispersion curves generated using forward modeling with the Roccastrada priors. Each sample includes a seismic velocity model and three dispersion curves for different period ranges. The dataset is designed for various inversion tasks in geophysics, such as inferring subsurface velocity structures from observed dispersion curves or training machine learning models to predict dispersion curves and velocity models.
