Dataset for "Evaluating the limits of frontier image models in scientific image transformation"

This record releases the dataset resources used in our study of image foundation models as scientific transformers. The files provide the processed inputs, targets, metadata, manifests, and task-specific data packages used to evaluate scientific image transformation across CT reconstruction, seismic and geophysical modeling, MRI reconstruction, microscopy super-resolution, and satellite image restoration. The released materials are intended to support reproducibility of the manuscript experiments, including fixed sample selections, condition-target pairs, and metadata needed by the accompanying evaluation code. Please note that AAPM16, Sleipner, and OpenFWI are subject to their respective access terms. Users are responsible for obtaining any required permissions and for complying with the original dataset licenses, data-use agreements, and citation requirements. This Zenodo record does not supersede or modify the terms of the original data providers. Where applicable, derived or processed files are provided only for research and reproducibility purposes. The CT-related materials are not intended for clinical use.
