资源简介:
Five-aminolevulinic acid (5-ALA) has been studied as a supplement for livestock due to its positive effect on immunity and health. Here, we assessed the effects of 5-ALA supplementation on the gut microbiota, oxidative stress, the inflammatory status in white blood cells and the IgG concentration of growing piglets. Twelve 28-day-old weaned piglets were equally allocated into Control and ALA (20 ppm of 5-ALA) groups. Beta diversities were significantly different at 56 days old and at 84 days old, respectively (P<0.05). At 56 days old, the abundances of six genera were significantly different between groups. At 84 days old, the abundances of 9 genera were significantly different between groups.
